Ajet are Anglian Water & Severn Trent approved contractors for carrying out sewer connections. This can be for a new build property and their initial connection to the main sewer, or an existing property converting from septic tank to mains. There are two methods of connection which can be either via a junction connection or a manhole connection. We hold City & Guild qualifications for Confined Space Entry which is required for entering Anglian Water & Severn Trent Water manholes.
We will complete all paper work for Sewer Connections on your behalf to obtain a permit from the local council giving us permission to excavate and also Anglian Waters Method Statement for their approval. We will arrange a relevant site meeting / inspection so that the water board can approve the connection before backfilling.
Ajet can install a vehicular crossing / drop kerbs for your property. Vehicular crossings are areas of lowered kerb and pavement - which gives vehicles access traveling from the road across a footway proceeding onto a parking area or driveway. This can be for a new build property or an existing one. Ajet can guide you through the process of obtaining local council permission for the crossing to be constructed. Our operatives & supervisor are all accredited under the New Road & Streetworks Act 1991.
